Why This Accomack Reference Exists
Virginia does not provide one public statewide active-warrant database. OCIS is a case-information search with limits, and Accomack County's public sheriff channel is a curated Most Wanted page. A person may find a case in one place but still need the clerk or sheriff to confirm the status.
The local court system also divides files by case type. Accomack Circuit Court handles felony criminal records. General District Court is the useful clerk for adult traffic, misdemeanor, and town-ordinance matters. J&DR holds juvenile, support, show-cause, and assigned adult criminal cases. A town name does not always mean a separate municipal court exists.

What This Resource Cannot Do
Accomack County Warrant Records is privately operated. It is not a court, county agency, sheriff's office, or law-enforcement office. It cannot confirm a current warrant, change a case, or give legal advice.
- It cannot run an official check or promise that every case appears online.
- It cannot issue, serve, recall, quash, or clear court process.
- It cannot take bond, court payments, or arrange a surrender.
- It cannot set a court date or tell a reader how a specific case will be decided.
- It cannot guarantee that an office's contact details or online entry has not changed.
The issuing clerk confirms court process. The sheriff can explain its service or custody role. A website cannot replace either office.
Sponsored Search Services
The finder boxes on warrant pages may show results supplied by a third-party search provider. The provider controls its own search product, pricing, data handling, and results. A sponsored tool is not Virginia OCIS and is not an official Accomack warrant check.
